First hunting trip in the books

Nj had today it?s first of three early days of coastal hunting today. I took off from the ramp at 4:45 am in my trusty steed for its first hunting trip with me. The boat did excellent, the wind picked up and it took the waves like a champ. I quickly realized the lack of space in my new rig and had to make a stop back to my truck to drop off a few things. Lucky for the ducks and unlucky for me there were no ducks harmed in the
Making of todays memory.

Joe,
Glad the boat/motor performed great. Looks good too.
For me at this stage of life, just the satisfaction of running across the water in the boat we labor to equip and look like a duck boat, along with the wind in our face and marsh scene around us are enough to give me contentment.
Adding ducks to my possession is a bonus.
And getting safely back to the dock or ramp is always a blessing I don't take for granted.
Keep us posted on your future hunts.
Steve

I?m right there with you. Wasn?t much flying and as the tide went out quickly I found myself packing up and just cruising the water in MY creation. It was such a great morning just being out.

Rig looks great Joe. Good gunning days coming down your way. I used to hunt that area some, but haven't been in recent times. Got to try and get to the bay once this year.
