I was informed by his wife that Tom Tyler passed away yesterday due to complications from a recent emergency major operation. Tom has been a waterfowler for years but of late his interest had turned to upland hunting..usually solo with his dog. He enjoyed fine double guns in smaller gauges. He had many years of hunting waterfowl in western Washington where they resided until he retired and then they moved to a small town near Spokane. Recently they took their adventures into Idaho by moving to another small town there.

Tom joined here a in April of 2020. He was a good friend of mine and a fishing partner on many local waters in Eastern WA. He will be missed for sure.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Tyler's family, and you.

The passing of a hunting & fishing partner is a very sorrowful hit, and the mourning never goes away.

We carry them with us as we try our best to live our lifestyle outdoors.

You shall meet again, in The Happy Hunting Ground.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your good friend and fishing companion. I'm reminded by my 85 year old father that the longer we live the more we have to deal with this kind of loss. He has survived all of his closest lifelong friends and travels substantial distances to comfort their families. He tells me it's his way of showing support and letting their loved ones know just how important they were to him.

God bless you and the Tyler family.

Eric
