Decoy Anchor ID - help needed

Amongst the many different decoy anchors my Dad and I accumulated over the years, these factory ring anchors (I have 10 or 12, I think) have kicked around - and seen some use - but I have no idea where they came from. They were associated - at least in my mind - with our Wildfowler decoys (Mallards, Blacks, Wigeon) - but I do not know if they were sold/made by Wildfowler Decoys.

Any thoughts?

I will bring one to the March 5 LI Decoys Collectors Show and hope someone there knows for sure.

All the best,

That type weight I like to use more that any other.

I do not wrap my line around the decoy. I wrap it around the weight.

back in 76 I picked up 5. They came with the same style but had Sanford in raised letter.
For years I though you made them.

Hmmmmm?????

The D. C. Sanford Co. in Bridgeport. CT made anchors (and keel ballast weights) for Wildfowler Decoys (presumably when the latter were in Old Saybrook.) Horns are a bit longer and everything is more rounded.

Seems like you should bring one to Hauppauge!

See you soon,
