A brief video of a local carver
All~

As I mentioned earlier in the Work Bench thread, I spent a day last week with a crew from our local PBS station. Each Wednesday at 7:30 PM they offer A House for Arts ! ( aka AHA!) which showcases local artists and performers. Each episode typically includes 3 "guests". This link has just my segment:

[Please just CLICK on the link and let me know if it doesn't get you there. And - as is common - you may need to "un-mute".]

I thought the producer Matt Rogowicz and sound/camera expert Jill Maloof did a wonderful job. They edited together bits from almost 3 hours of recording and about 100 still images I had provided. I appreciate their expertise, professionalism and artistry.

Hope you enjoy!

That is an outstanding piece on the person we here at duckboats.net have grown to sincerely appreciate. You deserve any and all the recognition you get and are a great ambassador for the sport of waterfowling. Thank you.

Well done.

Very enjoyable, Steve.

Liked your thoughts on "abandoning the biology" at some point and leaving something to the viewers imagination and sense of artistic form.

Good morning, All~

Thanks for the kind words. I am glad you enjoyed it. I have been savoring the aftermath. Several friends have re-posted it on their own Facebook pages and so I have heard from numerous old (as in high school) friends.

All the best,

We were without the internet for a two weeks. Brought me back when I lived in Alaska in the 60s. What an easy transition it was.
