Our old Black Brant

We built our Black Brant in 1989 and it has now met the end of the road. Through collisions, running aground, swampings, etc , and multiple repairs we've kept it going. Now while getting it ready for season 33, holes were found in the bottom and half of the flooring has gone soft. The old girl served us well and is now too tired to continue. I guess we're going to hold a ceremony soon. RIP...

33 seasons? I?d say you got your moneys worth out of that hull. And more than that in memories.
I?d say a fall bonfire is a fitting end.

Good to hear from you but sorry to learn your boat succumbed. In these circumstances I'll recommend you take the hardware off the boat and save it for a future build should that day ever come. You don't have to be gentle when you remove it.
