This Could Get You To Your Spot In The Morning
Chrysler Corporation Advert 2 - YouTube

Kind of a cool concept. There must have been some technical or practicality challenges seeing as how the concept never really caught on.

DANG! I can think of a few super weed choked places that boat would be good in....though if we stopped, would it remain afloat?

This is a 2017 video indicating a competing brand is in production. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haHZzTIQAt8

I 've seen these before and don't know who copied who, but the idea and concept still has a following.

I was scratching my head, trying to remember where I'd seen it before. Thanks for the link.

It appears to work well, but in wetlands around here it would do irreparable damage. I wouldn't mind trashing the hydrilla and milfoil though.

Designed for service in South Vietnam. There were entire studies done by the Army on low ground pressure vehicles.

Im sure no environmentalist would have any issues with this.

I have actually seen first hand something similar out on frozen lakes that aren't frozen enough to support a vehicle. Pretty cool.

And how would you get this onto a trailer? Just use a flatbed and "auger" it on?

Yeah, those both look like they are tearing the crap out of the marsh they are running on. Not sure they really provide much of an advantage over an air boat, which causes a lot less disturbance.
