Pleasant suprise
Had a pleasant suprise on Tuesday morning. Went to shoot our morning Woodies and ended the day with one shy of our twelve duck limit. A mixed bag of Widgeon, Gadwells and one Woodie.

Looks like you boys are doing all right for yourselves. Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.

Oh God, thy sea is so great and my ship is so small.

Its all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack!

I was hoping to bag an Ivory Bill, but no suck luck. They are a little greasy anyway.

Victor,

I have already put you on the hunt of a lifetime earlier in the season. Remember the Cac-Can, after all it is the king of the birds. Just kidding, I guess it helps to know people that own land. Just got lucky I guess, or is it really my keen senses finally taking over. Some say I think like a duck. HA HA

Nice hunt! Is the plural of gadwall "gadwells?" Or is that a Southern thang?
