Boat Blind Ideas

I've got a Duck Boss 13 with a canvas blind that I'm hoping to improve upon. My current setup involves the base canvas blind, and attaching fast grass mats to the frame with metal hooks. While the setup certainly does the job of hiding us from the ducks, if there is any wind whatsoever then the blind acts as a sail when we are retrieving ducks. The fastgrass also has its limitations with durability, and setting up the blind in two parts (first canvas, then fastgrass) is an added step in the morning that I'd like to avoid. So, I'm looking into swapping out the fast grass for raffia that is attached directly to the canvas, and then popping the frame out on the back canvas panels and rolling the blind down to the rail while motoring. Does anyone have any other thoughts on how to reduce windage while maintaining good concealment? Pics for reference. IMG_7880.JPEGIMG_0630.jpgIMG_7867.jpg

On my boat blinds I built I'll Un attach my top rail from corner uprights and roll down along gunnel during transport, motoring to spot. Simply put a few bungees around blind roll to hold stowed along gunnel. Now my top rail is a continuous section which I'm not sure yours is but maybe rail could be adapted to continuous or simply do individual rolls if wall sections into 2 sections. I use raffia zip tied to grassing straps heavily all the way around which rolls up easily. Another great newer product is called BLINDGRASS. It can be bought in mats or loose bundles, has zero memory, rolls, folds easily and is synthetic so no rot. I use this woven thru grass loops & raffia to drape inwards sufficient to close up the black hole created by an open top blind.
