Thanks for sending this along! As a fan of both Bishop and Chappelle, I will be reading it soon.


Just skimming it, I especially enjoyed the photo of all the gear - and the captain - that is "necessary". My Sneakbox is 13'5" LOA and has been filled to the gills more than once. And, although Ive never attempted any true voyages, I've slept in mine a few times for pre-hunt purposes.

JC, thanks for sending. I thought I would scan just the first couple paragraphs and then come back to read the whole article. But after reading the misery that this fellow put himself through in just the first 3 days I couldn't set my laptop aside! So I read the whole thing in one sitting. I look forward to reading his next adventure continuing downstream.
I have not yet spent the night in my Sneakbox but am now possibly inspired to do so (in better weather). Meanwhile, a couple minutes mid-morning catnaps will be the extent of my sleeping aboard for the remainder of Virginia's waterfowl season. Thanks again.
