I was able to replicate the issue that Mike said you had (his picture is below) when the body of my post had a nonstandard character. In my case it was a bullet copied and pasted into the message. So my advice is to make sure you only post characters you can make with simple keyboard strokes, e.g. plain text. Copying and pasting from another application could cause things to blow up, as would using extended characters found on an ipad or mobile device. There are probably other causes for this error, but in my case a simple bullet caused it to bomb with the exact same message as Mike's picture.

I would get it when trying to attach pictures as well. Sometimes when loggin in.

If you get it logging in there could be something else going on. It's very hard to troubleshoot something that I can't repeat. Just like taking your car to a mechanic and telling him your car was making a noise but stopped on the way to his shop.
