I received a request a couple of weeks back for my Behr paint (from Home Depot) charts for Cinnamon Teal. Although I had made some Cinnamons over the years, I had not recorded the colors I used for this species.



At the time of the request, I was flat out in preparation for the LIDCA Annual Show - so I sent along my charts for the Hen - because it's the same as a Blue-wing Hen.








I urged him to nag me after the show, because 1) I've always got plenty to do, and 2) I am increasingly forgetful....


So, when I got a polite reminder just before bed last night, I printed out a portrait I had of a Drake. Later - during one of my middle-of-the-night "awakenings", I marked up the portrait - then added the text electronically via Picasa.






Taking a quick run through my BEHR folder, I now have charts ( or just TUTORIALS) for almost every species of ducks and geese here in North America. Just some Sea Ducks need more work. I still have not found time to post everything on my website, so feel free to request any charts directly from me in the meantime.

I really apppreciate your posts for the different species colors. Behr paint samples are getting harder to acquire from Home Depot in my area. I am preparing to repair and repaint my Buffie rig this spring with your suggested colors for the hens.
