Those Blackbelly y-boards Sutton Made for me work! They were diving right in on them. I hope you make it Tuesday.

You should always post your photos. I'm sure everyone will love them. I was using a Canon 20D w/ 100-400 L glass.

Great photos Hitch. When I was hunting teal at our local FWA during our teal season I was surrounded by gallinule everyday. Your photos could easily be interchanged between what I saw here and what you have there. Those bluewings sure like the same habitat no matter where they are. I couldn't believe how noisy those gallinules were...they make the hunt interesting with their vocalizations.

Nice looking ho Jay. Is that all duck weed? Very sweet!! But my teal are prettier than yours :)

I can't argue with the teal being prettier. I've never had a shot at a full blown crescent drake. In fact, I don't think I've heard of one being shot up here. This would be the year though because we have birds coming north by the millions. Saw robins yesterday.

That is all duckweed...we have lots of duckweed.

Thanks Dave,

A big compliment coming from you.

Your photos are amazingly clear and crisp with the lenses you have now. I think we both have the shutter bug real bad.
