Today was a much more quiet day. There weren't nearly as many hunters or shooting; one reason why I enjoy hunting during the week. I managed 5 ducks pretty quick and decided since the Blue wing were flying pretty good, and the Fulvous were all over me, I would hold out for a Fulvous. Well the Fulvous didn't cooperate very well so a nice Drake Blue wing swung the spread and that was it, done with the gun that is.
Shortly after finishing up this Blackbelly swam out of the smartgrass. It's the first time I've seen such a mature bird swimming.
It was a very pleasant solo outing.
