Brown just made it's daily stop and guess what came with him? That's right ...he's in sunny south Florida. He was a little disappointed that we are not going hunting till Saturday. I will slather him with SPF 40 before he goes out since being from up north I am sure he will need the protection ;0.

I put him on my desk but being a true drake he said he would rather sit with Sharon.

Yep, that's my Woodrow....quite the ladies man.

I see the box is still holding up...WOW.

Enjoy your time with him.

That box is something else -- when I went to drop him off at UPS, I got several comments on it. All of the shipping labels are still on there as well. Seems that everyone just keeps folding down a different panel to affix the new labels.

Glad to hear that he made it OK and good luck with him.

Jon called to make sure the bird arrived OK. I asked him if he shipped it in 2 pieces so it would fit in the box better and the phone went dead silent. Sorry ...I did not mean to scare you so bad. Woodrow is A OK as witnessed in the photos.

I asked this a few weeks ago and didn't see any replies so I'll ask again....

Has there been any wood ducks harvested over this decoy yet?

Merely curious....

Thanks.

Best,

Brian F.

Ooops.... I was a bit afraid I might be opening a can of worms by asking... sorry.

But, on the upside, I have seen lots of pics here, of Woodrow with a lot of mighty fine ducks taken this season, so that is something noteworthy!!! :^)

There is still plenty of time for a fine wood duck harvest by someone.....
Ron?

Best to all,

Brian F.

Brian, Woodrow should see some woody action in Florida. Heck, when he gets out here to Oregon later this month he's see more woodies than than he'll know what to do with! I'm saving Woodrow the best for last!

Dave

I'll post up before Jason Russell gets on here again and tries to defame me with another lame attempt...

I MISSED A DRAKE WOOD DUCK OVER WOODROW!!!

Yes, he landed in the decoys right next to Woodrow while my gun was empty (from missing a pair of mallards). I was only able to load 2 shells in the gun before he took flight (at Mach 3). I cleanly missed behind him on both shots.

Pathetic is an overstatement. I'm still hanging my head in shame.

So he's not a failure!!!

It happens to the best of us Jon. It does happen to some more often than others though. ;-)

Eric...when are we getting the smiley things here?

Dave, how many days do I have till he has to be shipped to the next person and who is the next person? I have includede a picture of a south Florida wood duck. If I get one should I put it in the box with the decoy and ship it to the next person?

Ron.....It's going to Hitch next and then Dave in Oregon.

I'd like to have it shipped to Dave on the 18th with guaranteed delivery by the 22nd to him.

It's up to you and Hitch who has him for how long until then.

Would shipping that So Fla. woodie be considered a dirty bomb???

have fun with Woodrow and don't forget to sign him.

Jon, You know missed that duck 12 times sitting on the water. You reloade 4 times before it swam out. Maybe you can redeem yourself this weekend

Wiz - the miss is well documented for all to read throughout the ages.

Jason - why are you wasting time on here when you should be hard at work on carving my deer decoy???
