Iowa guys it looks like the bottom will drop out next week!

I was looking at the extended forecast and next week today were looking for highs in the 30's and lows overnight in the low 20's. Ice is a commin with 2 weeks to go. The timing might be just about right to finish it off thats for sure. Illinois for me goes till the 14th so will see what that brings I guess.

You got a web site you like for long range forecasts?

The past couple of weeks have been pretty good but I really miss not having ice around for the end of the season.

Time is runnin out thats for sure. My next time off will be the weekend still not sure what im doing yet......
 
or at least put it in a baggie. Seal some air in with it when you put it it the baggie and it will float. Better yet, duck tape it to your gun. Haven't dropped that in yet have ya?
 
Ed,You can tape them vibrating ringy things on the back of a decoy. Serve's as duel perpose motion decoy. You never lose a decoy do you? hee hee
 
When Ed is wearing all them layers of clothes, there might be something else he needs a string tied to. And thats all I'm gonna say, nope forget I even mentioned it, don't want to go there. hehehehe
 
Dave, I don't mind the divers. I just got away from them for awhile. I hunted them for about 15 years down along Beaver out of a scull boat. My back and knees just could not take it anymore. I really enjoyed sculling out on 150 blue bills and cutting them right through the middle to get to the Greaters and they don't even know you are there. Anyway, I am open for this weekend so far.
 
Ed, don't feel to bad. I have lost 2 of them this year. One while fishing a tournament, Abarge wave got in my way at 70mph and it bounced out of the boat. The other I got buzzed by a wood duck that was about 2 inches from my face while talking on the phone. I don't know who was more scared, him, or me knowing I did not have ins. on the phone! Email coming.
