Well (deep subject, I know)
The hunting has gone from WOW to Huh? on the Texas coastal prairies and sloughs.
I guess I got spoiled with limits of ducks and a few geese on most outings. For the past 4 weeks, it's been 1 bird a trip. At least I've had great company with the kids and dog.
Today, my preacher-buddy and I are going to the coast to hunt a private freshwater impoundment alongside Charancua Bay (sp). If that fails, we're putting his boat in the bay and headding out into the salt marshes.
It's already 64F and rising.... warm morning on the bay.
