Decoy Photos - Delaware River BW Teal

This hen Bluewing is a little more decorative than my usual fare. She is cedar from tip to tail and is painted with Jansens. Head is turned slightly to the left. Let me know what you think...

Geoff,

If for whatever reason you don't like her, I have a hen gw teal that I've named "Frank" that could keep her company when I got out hunting.

She's gorgeous!

I'm no expert by any means, but I do know pretty when I see it. Nice deke. Do you have any other species that you would post pics of? We love pics!

I really like the Delaware style. One of my best friends is really good buddies with Lenny Mariano. He's a really nice down to earth guy. He won numerous ribbons at the Tuckerton show and first place for the pintail rig. I am getting him to do a black for me. He loves the Delaware style and I think you did a very nice job as well.

Cheers,
Mike

nice work as usual geoff. one of these days i'll get time to carve. one cinnamon teal and 2 trout was the total for this year. :(

Geoff, if you would like, I could swing back down through Wi from the UP next week and waterswat that for you...Really nice bird and the paint makes my head hurt staring at it and finding all the little nuances.

Lenny and I spent a lot of time together at the Tuckerton. He did have great rig of pintails. My drake Mallard took first place BOS for the individual Delaware River contest, so we were able to get a photo together at the awards ceremony. If you see him, tell him I don't eat clams! Thanks to the rest of you for the kind words...
