Best time to buy a boat

Anyone else have an opinion on the best time to buy. If a good deal comes up unexpectedly you need to pull the trigger, but if it is a planned purchase that is a little different. I have always liked to have a new boat in the summer before hunting season so I can take it out in warm weather and thoroughly test it. Find out how the boat handles, get it set-up for season, run it in the areas I plan to hunt, get the dogs used to it, all that good stuff. I have found it is so much easier when fall arrives if I have had lots of time to get familiar with a boat.

With all of the plant closures and layoffs, people are selling all of their toys. Now its just supply and demand...theres a lot of bargains available, unfortunately for those workers.
