Prior to gutting interior, the boat started as a standard 1995 side console Crestliner. We fully decked it out, changed to an Islamorada console & attached a rubrail

Sand blasting before painting. The front deck has been extended back an additional (18) eighteen inches

I used aluminum Riv-Nuts purchased from McMasters-Carr to attach just about everything to keep corrosion between the S/S hardware & the hull

Finished product, staked out @ the sandbar near Sebastian Inlet

We figured we added (221) two-hundred & twenty one pounds of material.

(3) three 4x8 sheets of .075
(40) forty feet of support bracing
(1) one spool of alunimum welding wire

What type of seating did you replace the old stuff with?

Is this boat going to be used for fishing and duckhunting?

The seating is what you see, (3) three across the back.

I custom ordered a 5mm piece of Sea Deck which should be here by the end of the week.

The boat was my primary big water duck boat during the season.

She'll now be regulated to fishing inshore/nearshore & my 18x44 GD will be picking up the slack.

She's actually set up better seating/blind wise.

I can hunt (3) three plus me & gear very comfortably.

Thanks for posting the pics. Of all the side consoles I like your Islamorada style the best. I'm looking for a compact, clean but functional side console and I think you nailed it.

Hey Jeff -

Nice looking boat. Can you tell me what is at the front of the boat that connects to the pole that then sticks into the lake/ocean/whatever? Is this being used to "anchor" the boat in shallow water? If so, I'd sure appreciate knowing what that product on the bow is called.

that boat came out great. I like the pole platform and the deck. Seating looks much better for fishing too.

Jeff,

You outa get some of the stimulus money and start building that boat to sell to
hunters and fisher folk. I personally would love to have one just like it.
