I was in Montana for the last few days. I was so excited to get this shot, but more excited when they crawled upon the ice. Hope you guys enjoy them.

Awesome Gary! Simply awesome! You truly have a gift with the camera my friend. God bless you and your family. Pat

Wow, that is phenomenal! I'm not sure what is more amazing, the photo quality or the amazing opportunity to photgraph six bands on two swans!

Well, my pics don't match up to that, but I'm going to post them anyway!

Gary,

You blew it for me. After seeing that I doubt I'll ever go for swans again. You lucky son of a gun. Awesome.

Gary,
I alway enjoy your posts! You are truly gifted with the camera and in a place that offers you the opportunity to share it all with us.
Thanks you, made my night!

Spactacular pictures Gary!

If you don't mind, I'd like to use that second picture for a new neck pattern? I'm about to start 7 more swans but need to add some varitey.

Thanks for sharing these,
Chuck

I think you can send in the pics to the banding center, they would probably like to get a report on where they were & when!

COOL PICS!

Pat, Yhanks for the nice comments.
Hitch, It means alot comming from you. You have always inspired me to get better with my camera. By the way, these were taken with my new 7D.
Derek, They were in a little marsh near ovando,Montana. Just a short hike.
Thanks Kevin for the nice comments.
Jim, I never know if I should post pics or not. I just want to share Gods creations with everyone on this site. Thanks for the comments.
Chuck, Let me post some close ups for you when I get home tonight. I have lots of different ideas for your neck patterns.
Carl, I have already sent in the information.

Thanks everybody for the encouragement. Its amazing how many photo's one needs to take to get a good one.

Gary,

Speaking for myself, please don't hesitate to post your pictures. I've been going through withdrawal for what seems like two or three months now!

I think you'll be proud of the pictures of those swans for many years to come!

I'm about convinced that I need to move to your part of the country. I live in Atlanta, GA and have to drive too far to get on any water that is not already covered up with other folks. Much less a body of water that has ducks on it. Then, of course, there are the longer duck hunting seasons you guys enjoy!

Thanks for sharing.

Chris

Great Gary...I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in seeing more pictures.
