Jon Greene Pictures Page 2

The next pics are from a hunt two season ago and these are the first three sneakboxes built by David E. Clark. Dave's boat is on the left with Harley and Chris's boat in the middle with Bob and my boat on the right with Barney. Pleasant bay(salt water) froze up after we got set up, way before dawn and it was very cold as you can see. The trip back to the boat ramp was a crunchy one with Dave in the lead. Covered with grass and sea weed, tucked in the marsh Black ducks routinely land in the decoys, the sneak box is perfect for this. And at anchor in open water with a couple of strings of decoys to the stern also produces plenty of seaducks as this last picture shows. This versatility is what the sneakbox is all about because Cape Cod offers a variety of different types of gunning. Either in the marshes and ponds after mallard or out in the small bays for brant and geese or out in the open ocean gunning seaducks.
