I have been duck hunting since age of 12. Orginally I came from Nova Scotia and that is where I learned duck hunting from the coastal sea with father, brothers, cousins and friends. I have hunted seaducks, scoters, oldsquaws, mergensers, goldeneyes, black ducks and greenwinged teals. I moved to Ontario in 1991, twelve years ago, and been duck hunting in various places, mostly mallards, Canada geese, bluebills, ringnecks and bluewinged teals. Presently, I am 47 years old and I am profoundly deaf man who uses sign language and, as far as I know, I am the only deaf person that goes duckhunting alone as no deaf people hunt ducks. I have 14 foot outboard and I make my own decoys, and have made a boat that is a part scull boat, a part sneak boat and a part layout boat, approximately 11 foot long.
