I am 38 years old, married, and have two sons (11 & 5). I live in Helena, AL, which is a suburb of Birmingham. My first duck hunt was in a flooded timber beaver pond at the tender age of 6, with my dad, and I was shooting a 410 made by Ithaca (I still have that gun). I have been hooked on waterfowling since that day!
99% of my hunting is done on the Tombigbee/Black Warrior River systems in the western part of Alabama (Aliceville to Demopolis). I hunt mostly wood ducks, mallards, and a few gadwall show up on occasion.
I hunt over about 6 dozen decoys (mostly cheap Flambeau) and will soon be adding another 2 dozen G&H to the spread. I currently shoot a 28" barrel Remington 870 Magnum.
