I've been a duck hunting addict for about four years now. I used to duck hunt some when I was growing up, but for some unknown reason I stopped. My brother-in-law got me hooked again a few years ago.
I'm 32yrs old. Married with three kids five and under. There never seems to be enough time to hunt, but have a wonderful wife who doesn't understand my addiction but at least accepts it.
Most of my hunting locally is on Sauvie Island. I hunt the WMA, it is crowded but hunting can be great at times. I also hunt in NE Oregon near Umatilla.
I am new to hunting with boats. I bought a used Aquapod this year to use for duck hunting, I am hoping I can get away from the crowds. I am also building a Paul Butler Mini-Mac Riverboat. I am really enjoying boat building. All of the tips on this site have been very helpful.
