This is my 3rd year of serious duck hunting. I hunt a lake on our farm, and also Sam Rayburn Reservoir, as well as travel to Arkansas, Mexico and other parts of Texas the last 2 years to duck hunt. I own a 12' pirogue, made by Bobcat Boats in Shreveport, LA. Have an 8-month old Black Lab, Bell, that I am currently training. Duck hunt with a 25+ year old Browning A-5 2 3/4" 12 guage that my father handed down to me. Love it immensely.
Just finished painting my first 3 E. Allen Mallard decoys, and am looking forward to painting some more.
Used to be just a big game hunter, but now I find that duck hunting is seriously cutting into my deer hunting schedule.
