[Roll Call ]

Hi all,

I am a 26 year old CPA and I work for a large firm here in New Orleans. I love waterfowling and have been duck hunting since I was six years old. I first started going with my dad and uncle when I was old enough to carry a crossman BB gun. When I was nine I graduated up to a single shot, crack barrel twenty guage, and the disease known as "duck hunting addiction" was upon me. In the years since I have only become worse, or is that better, as my love for the sport has grown.

I mainly hunt the Atchafalaya Delta and mouth of the Mississippi river, below Venice, because these are two of the top spots in LA. My friend and I have a houseboat on the Atchafalaya Delta WMA, that is warm and dry after a long days hunt. My other gear includes an old 870, a 15' modified v bateau, and a 19' 1965 Thunderbird fiberglass ski boat that I am in the process of restoring. I also have two bird crazy labs that are two of the reasons that I love to hunt so much. I usually hunt 30 to 40 days a season, but I wish I could get out more.

I have been lurking and posting on the forum, since the days before the "original" forum crash and I am always amazed at the amount of waterfowling skill that resides here. Keep up the good work Eric, and if any one decides to come down to South Louisiana, give me a call.
