My name is John Singer. I am 38 years old. I became interested in duck hunting at the age of 11 when I read "Duck Shooting Along the Atlantic Tide Water" Eugene V. Connett. I live in Northeast Lower Michigan. I own a black lab "Shelby". I hunt geese, puddlers, and divers, mostly divers. I live on a sheltered Lake Huron bay, and this past season was our best ever. I have a 16' Herters Yukon and a 12' layout boat that I built from a sunfish sailboat. I have been carving decoys since I was 12 and now use almost exclusively hand carved decoys of the styrofoam type. My greatest joy in waterfowling is introducing new people to the sport. This season was a pleasure for that reason.
