[Roll Call ]

I was fortunate to have a father that was willing to throw an old canoe up on top of his aged Pontiac Bonneville. The next thing you knew we were fishing and camping throught the U.P. and into the Porcupine Mountains of Canada. I can remember the time we were crossing a bridge while on a particular adventure and there was a big alligator gar or tiger musky "sunning" himself near the shoreline. All of a sudden there was a screech of the brakes, popping of the trunk and a grown man flying down the bank with a fishing net and 2 little boys in tow. We laughed about that futile attempt for years.

Anyway, I'm afraid the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! I'm passionate about being a sportsman, a big believer in the right equipment and for the price of a cold beer could bend your ear for an hour.

Currently, I'm 35 and reside in the Catskills of NY, not far from PA. I have been waterfowling for 8 seasons and get more addicted with it each year. I also enjoy muzzleloading for whitetail, and calling up easterns. High on the list, are my first elk, and a grand slam. However, nothing will ever top watching with anticipation as day breaks over the marsh or a field of corn stubble, the retriever's subtle movement at your side, and the warmth of a friend's thermos.

Thanks for the site Eric!
