Hello I'm Bill Webster.I'm 41 and been waterfowling since '69.Married,wife of 15 yr's Karoline. Three sons Cody 13,Carson 11,Connor 5.

Auburn Univ.Grad.'81 Entomology.Self-Employed,North Al Agri Services,Inc. Consulting entomologist for cotton growers in Limestone & Madison Co. of AL. & Giles Co. TN. 17 growers contracted,on 25,000-30,000 planted acres\yr.

Job fits well with hunting. Growing season for cotton in N.AL. 1st of April-1st of Oct.

Have seen heyday of waterfowling in the TN.Valley. My sons will never experience what I have(which was marginal to most of you).We had many good years with a few a down yr's. Now we have more down yr's than good.

Cody loves duck hunting, killed 1st greenhead year before last. Carson will get his chance during next wk end youth hunt.

I have 2 canoes and one jon boat,to hunt out of. I have a AA layout boat bottoms up in Beaverdam Swamp courtsey of 2 hunting buddies (lucky to be alive). The beavers appreciate the plywood appetizer.

Bought 1st shotgun hand picking cotton after school, 20ga single shot. Then came an Ithaca(aka SKB)XL 900,Rem 870(old faithful) and a Benelli(2 yr's ago).My favorites are Grandads Model 31 Rem. and Model 12 Win. Steel shot has retired them.

Goal in life, to buy land in S.central SD.or N.central NE. for the boys to see hunting at its finest, pheasants and waterfowl. The hell with retiring on a beach (sorry Jimmy Buffet). I hunted several states, SD. is one my favorites(wide open, few people, farm land, and lotsa game).

Like the site,will visit often.
