I'm 37 years old. I was born and raised in Alaska and have been hunting since I was 12. Its only been the last 6 years that I figured out I can pull the trigger a whole lot more duck hunting than moose or caribou hunting. Plus its much easier hauling out the game at the end of the day. I hunt mostly with two brothers and a friend up in the interior of Alaska at Delta Junction. Opening day we go for Sandhill crane or geese (specklebelly or canada), then we hit Healy Lake for a week of duck shooting. The trip back to Anchorage usually invloves a swing through caribou country to fill our tags.
I've been having to listen to my brother for 5 years about his boat this and his boat that, so I finally decided to get my own boat. Plans for the Devlin Mallard are in hand and marine plywood is in the garage. Saw dust is soon to be anticipated!
