Just a newby to this decoy carving addiction; been at it about two years. Use cork for the bodies and cedar or basswood heads. I hope to retire in couple of years and I'm not a bit worried that this carving game won't keep me from becoming bored. I don't have the patience to take on a decorative style bird but really enjoy making gunners for on the water use.
