Retired Naval Aviator (flew the old A-6 Intruder), now doing government work in the Northern Virginia area and overseas. I'm a longtime follower of the "page", mostly just drop-by to lurk and catch up. Built a Devlin Scaup in 2001, toughest little 16 footer on the east coast: silicon bronze fasteners and hardware; Okoume 3/8" hull and deck, ½" on the floor, ¾" bulkheads; internal 10 gallon fuel tank in the bow; Optima battery, also in the bow; Honda 40 tiller/tilt/trim; Ditzler primer and Parker paint; EZ-Loader trailer. Broadbill is next. Mostly hunt the tidal Potomac River and bays (with Skeeter), which has been amazingly good the past few seasons.
