Howdy,I'm Gary Potter,I live in a small semi rural area of western Washington State, with my child bride of 34 years. Along with an 11 year old GSP, we have two grown(?)children,4 grand children.I'm 54 years old, and have been a hunter, trapper and waterfowler for 44 years or so. I use a 14.5' We-No-Nah canoe(fisherman model with a wide beam, a 12' Columbia which is involved in becoming a Zack-Box type duck boat, a recently purchased 4-Rivers layout/marsh boat and 14.5' high bow lapstake (built for the salt) tender/chase boat with a YamaHooter outboard. Over the years I 've raised and trained a bunch of labs and a couple of Chessies, and one special Chessie named "Teak". This is the one 'Good' dog that everyone is allowed, along with the 'Good Woman' and 'Good Gun'. I'm in the process of learning to carve my own decoy's, after all these years. I'm not a good carver yet but I have a "Great Teacher" in the person of Steve Sutton.I currently shoot a Browning 3.5" Gold Hunter, have a back up 3" BPS both are stalker models. And a couple of Win M-12's of which my favorite is the 1923 16ga. with a milled rib and I'm the third generation Potter to own it. I hunt mostly puddlers but am trying to put together a decent diver rig. Thats it on me before you fall asleep reading this.
