I started waterfowling in 1994, got the bug bad and have not picked up my bow since then! My first hunt and duck was on the lovely Tschache Pool at the Montezuma NWR. It is still one of my all time favorite spots to hunt!

I have a 16.5' long, W-I-D-E deep-v grumman boat, a 17 ft. long Michicraft "the packmule" canoe and a 12 ft. Sportspal and hope someday to build a boat for myself. I am accompanied by my American Water Spaniel - Suzie. I enjoy training, hunting, and running her in UKC hunt tests and really appreciate her companionship. I hunt puddlers, divers and field hunt for geese. I have recently gotten the bug for targeting specific types of waterfowl - especially Lake Ontario Brant and the Greater Snows that filter through Western NY.

I am also the Secretary and Webmaster for the Lake Plains Waterfowl Association located in Greece, NY. I have also decided to give something back by becoming a state certified instructor in both Hunter Safety Education and Waterfowl Education here in NY.

I am married to my lovely wife Michelle who tolerates my duck madness and have a 1 year old son who can't stop pointing at my decoys and saying the word "DUCK!" I look forward to the day when I have my son by my side in a blind.
