I started duck hunting with my dad 23 years ago when I was only 7 years old. My first hunt I killed a mallard and have been fascinated with it ever since. I only recently started carving and enjoy it as much or maybe a little more than the actual hunt. Now I have gone and started building boats. Looks like I am in for a 365 day a year season between hunting and tinkering with a boat or a deke or who knows what's next. I have met some fine duck hunters over the years and have run into some of the worst, seems like most of the worst have been in the last 5 years. I have met a few of the forum members from here in 'Bama and am impressed so far.
