My name is Bennett Butker and I’ve been hunting ducks and geese since 1996 ish.
Decatur Ga is a 2000 mile drive from where we like to be in mid to late October.
Age 46, 3 kids, patient wife, mortgage, etc.... No hunting dog and no boat, ..yet.
Got friends in North Dakota/ Southern Sask. We field hunt snows, shoot from fence lines, pass shoot ducks, sneak ducks and snows, and generally have a great time doing it.
Want to get into layout boat hunting - seems to be the best way to hunt near water -
especially with no dog.
