For those that have been to the show. Artie Birdsall recently passed away. He was always set up on the corner by the boat displays and the bathrooms

The show is quickly approaching, update bump!
Anthony~

As you know, I am juggling lots of competing demands of late. I probably cannot make the call - go, no go, 1-day only (as visitor, not vendor) until the middle of next week. Nevertheless, I will be prepared with a vessel and some gunning stool IF I make it to the Garden State.

All the best,

SJS

Looking like it's going to be a great weekend here in New Jersey! No rain in sight... (y) Stop on by The Duck Boat Co Booth I'll be there with Liz & Tom Olsen and a camera in hand as always to capture the action & of course post up for all here who can't make it!
See you soon - A

Anthony et al~

Well, my Mom needs me more here on Long Island - so no Tuckerton at all this year.... I will head straight back to the farm this afternoon with no detour through the Garden State.

I will miss all the people, boats, decoys, Atlantic White Cedar - but I did have a nice visit here yesterday with a new friend/gunner/carver. Very luckily, my life - while way too busy of late - is never far from our Grand Passion. I will spend all of next week working on gunning vessels - and tending to other waterfowl "chores".

All the best,

SJS

This weekend's show I have to say was by far a much needed improvement from the past years! Great time in Tuckerton, NJ for us all nice meeting friends both new & old... many vendors were happy with sales, new items were displayed with some returning after many years absent. The weather was also a good incentive for larger crowds.. here's a few images of the weekend festivities!

Anthony, great meeting you buddy. Wish we had more time to chat. As you probably saw, my little 3 yr old son Colton (holding the ruddy duck John gave him above), had other plans. It was his first show, he talked about it all week, and oh man did he have a blast.

It was a fantastic show and a very memorable one for me. I never had a chance to circle back to TDB.

Great pics. First time I have ever seen an inboard sneakbox.
Captain Bob posted a thread with additional photos of the sneakbox last year.

I was just about to post that that is a great picture! Sweet looking ruddy too. Who made it? I'd love to see a couple better pictures of it.

Well I guess I didn't see it or forgot about it. Might be the latter. Thanks for the re-link
