Rusty. with the cost of a modern outboard, it really takes a lot of fortitude to camo up your motor. I have two mercurys that I just cant seem to get up the courage to camo paint. I just keep draping a camo cover over them. My Honda mud motor was another story, it was bright red and stuck out like a sore thumb, Puff canned it the first week I owned it! Rich, I feel your pain. I just painted one of my newest motors last year and my brother was yelling at me that I was crazy for doing it. It's just the first brush stroke thats painfull. Then once you start getting into it it starts to be fun again. By the time your half way done your looking for more paint and other things to do to it.
