Your website and the paint tutorials on it are simply great! My son and I have been using your paint schemes, to the best of my abilities, for the last two years and they are an invaluable resource. We?ve done just about everything puddlers, divers, and seaducks.

I recommend it to anyone I know who is repainting decoys.

Ken,
My duck hunting buddy with the DW boat who is not on this site or internet savvy found Steve's site some how and also used his paint recommendation on some of our spread. The colors are spot on. Previously he has "missed" on picking the right colors.
Steve is helping more people than he might have imagined, but that's the kind of guy Steve is!

I also have benefited greatly from Steve's paint tutorials and paint color lists.

I have run into the problem lately that HD is no longer offering samples in the Behr Premium Flat Exterior in my area. Everything was Marquee Satin. Ended up buying a few quarts in some colors which means I have to get off my rear and carve more decoys!

What a great resource Steve put together for decoy painting. I used Steve's tutorial for a dozen Goldeneye I rehabbed two summers ago. Easy to follow and they turned out fabulous. Not because of my painting skills, but, because of Steve's easy to follow process. I thank you again Steve for sharing so much knowledge with fellow duck hunters.
