Behr Paints for Shoveler

Behr Paints for Shoveler
All~

As happens with some regularity, I got an out-of-the-blue e-mail asking for my color charts for Behr paints. I have them for most species - but not all. The Behr Paints - Shoveler folder has been empty - until this morning.

I have only carved a single pair - back in the mid-80s - for myself. I shot over these for many years. They are among my favorites because they channel the old Wildfowlers that I admire so much. They are hollow White Pine - and were painted with tube acrylics.

Here's his mate:

Some details - the cape and scapulars.

The sides.

The tertials et cetera.

Her face and bill.

Hope this helps!

Do you by any chance have the paints for mallards? As one who has little artistic talent I am a great admirer of your beautiful work in many different mediums. Thanks in advance Steve

Steve~

I've never made up a Mallard chart per se, but... all the Behr colors are listed in my Tutorial:

Here is the complete list from the post. I'm guessing you could save the image - then print it out.

All the best,
