Bob, How DID you get my high school senior picture?

    Just a Thermos vent

Same story with the Avery Neo bottle I bought. Now I stick with Stanley, or Thermos brand, pre heat with HOT water and no problems. Are you starting a paperweight collection? I'd contribute.

    .22 ammo-NDR

Not that it helps you at all but the Gander Mtn in Portage, MI had std velocity Federal .22 ammo on the shelf this past Tuesday, (Dec. 1st), with a two box per customer limit. Until my grandson gets old enough to shoulder a rifle, I have all I need. Maybe the "crisis" will be past by then, but...

In some desperate need of rain---

Al, Sure hope you get that rain soon. If the reports we get here in the midwest are accurate, it would appear that the entire west coast could use a good drenching. The pictures of Chip make me think of a little kid and a mud puddle. If I had to define "exuberance", those pictures would say it...

    Goose call

Bob Furia makes an excellent call that would do everything you want and is reasonably priced, as well as being easy to look at. He's posted pictures of his calls on this site if you want to see what they look like.

How should I finish this bench?

Nice looking bench for sure. The contrasting grain is really an eye catcher. It would seem that an added benefit of the 5/4 treated leg caps is that you should be able to easily replace them if they do start to deteriorate and keep the integrity of the leg itself intact.

Dave, Looking forward to the float tomorrow afternoon. Forecast doesn't look too favorable, so I'll bring the umbrella. Dave

    epoxy and plastic

Phil, I made a repair to the battery hold down bracket on my ATV when one of the tabs that a bolt goes through was broken. I used a strip of 6oz. cloth on one side and it's held up for three years now.

Like finding emeralds, rubies, and diamonds in the desert

Al, Great photo's as usual. It would appear, by the trailing in flight refueling line, that even the Osprey was getting a drink. Dave

    Some pics---

Al Sitting here with my soon to be two year old grandson. His name is Jackson and he is every bit as handsome as your Jackson is, (but then I may be just a little biased ). Beautiful pictures as always. Dave

    Hi

Al, Great pictures as always. Is the mule deer picture recent? Seems late in the season for the buck to still have antlers. Does the climate affect when they lose their antlers? Dave

Salt Lake City - some recomendations?

I'll second that Park City recommendation. Visit the Wasatch Brewing Co, in downtown Park City. Good food and drink. The winter Olympic ski area is right outside town and is pretty interesting. Bear River is the other way, (north), of Salt Lake City and is worth the effort to visit it as well.

Cool Spaces Article About My Employer

Eric, Very impressive collection of game animals as well as the lodge that houses them. I noticed a couple of things in the article, 1. Wally doesn't fish much, does he? and 2. He sure seems to have the tree huggers pi--ed. WAY TO GO WALLY!!!
