    I want to add some lights inside my Lund Alaskan for duck hunting and fishing and was thinking about LED's under the gunnels or sides and was wondering what color would be best red/green/white, any other thoughts?

    I have shot a SBE for years and have had very little trouble but I have replaced the spring/recoil system with a stainless one and I clean it once a year. I abuse this gun a lot so I clean the action quite often and oil it, as it is impossible to keep it dry all season.

    I am using lead that came from old underground cable and it was melted in a fire and I remelted to ingots.

    I would buy the Lund, you will like the bigger motor and resale will be better. He is lucky to have found a used lund alaskan.

    I would look some more, that type of boat in mn/wi are a dime a dozen, you should be able to find exactly what you want.

    Boat motor investigation...UPDATE

    I solved a poor starting problem I had by draining all the gas that had sea foam in it and replaced it with gas that I added a fuel stabalizier to and the motor fierd and ran just fine, sea foam is a good tool for cleaning the system and decarboning it but can reduce its flash point.

    HELP Finding Lund Alaskan!!!!

    I have been looking for a used Lund Alaskan tiller, 18 prefered but 16 is okay and haven't had much luck so any help would be greatly appreciated, even just the name of a dealer that sells a lot of lunds would be a help.

    Epoxy painting? NDR

    I need some advice on painting over epoxy that I used to repair a door, I just want to hide the repair with some basic white paint. I just used some epoxy resin to seal a storm door. I guess it could be duck related as the epoxy was first bought to build my mallard!
