DBHF's new home? A private island!!

I think if you had the dough to buy that place, you wouldn't have to worry about work.

Don't know if this is true or not but I got it on email

Go to www.snopes.com they debunk the story. Besides, duck hunter's don't use #8 bird shot, and a highly trained retriever doesn't make a retireve until sent...and they don't exactly haul ass on ice either. 40 seconds might be too short for a dog to cover 50 yards there, 50 yards back...it...

    Good news...I've got wood!

I forgot to ask if it was 1088...DOH! But when I asked for the okoume ply he said "AAhhh-ha, going with the best then..." I figured it was the right stuff. These guys called it "AC Superply". I think World Panel called their's "Aquaply" and "Hydroply". It is about the same price as EdenSaw...

    Plywood question???

Well, I looked locally and the only marine plywood I could find in Kansas City is "AB Fir". I assume that this will be pretty heavy. Does anyone know if fir plywood is any good? The salesman said it was great on both sides, but if it's too heavy its a moot point. Let me know what you think...

    Plywood question???

Thanks for the replies guys. WorldPanel.com is where I have been looking, but I will try to find a local place that has Okoume and Meranti. I definitely want to build one out of Okoume, but I don't want to be making rookie mistakes on such an expensive peice of wood. I am leaning toward the...

    Plywood question???

Hi folks! My name is Hunter and I am new here. I'm getting ready to build a Duckhunter and have a couple of wood questions. First, what is the difference between Meranti 1088 and Meranti 6566? Supposedly the weight is the same. Secondly, would the Meranti 6566 be suitable for the...
