    Test post

I am on a mobile platform. I turned off the smart punctuation. Looks like that did the trick. Appreciate it.

    Coot Decoys Wanted

Sounds like some heavy duty coots that could take some abuse. They look great too.

    April Workbench

That’s going to be a fine looking turkey decoy. I’m anxious to see how it turns out

    Wanting an autoloader

I shoot a Beretta 390. It's synthetic, but the A300 outlander is offered in wood. The 390 is an older model and on the economical end of the Beretta lineup. I paid about $550 for it 10 yrs ago. I've put hundreds of rounds through it and love it. It's chambered for 2 3/4" or 3" rounds. I...

DID YOU EVER SINK YOUR TRAILER AND TRUCK

Definitely a good idea Carl. I've had fears about that same thing happening when launching. I typically have my window down as well.

    Call making supplies

All I've made a couple calls recently and would like to make a few more for family/friends. Any suggestions on the best place to buy call blanks? I like the stabilized wood blanks but would also like to try a few acrylic calls. Also any tips that would help in the turning process on acrylic...

    What was your first duck

Drake wood duck on a narrow backwater creek. Had never duck hunted but went with a friend and his dad. When the woodies started zipping through the trees it liked to scared me to death. The creek was very narrow so ducks were flying super close. I thought a jet was buzzing the tree tops until I...

First decoy(s); Bold enough to share?

Good looking can. I like the bill detail. How many decoys has it taken to get to this point for you?

    Homemade paint jobs for boat/motor

Scott, great looking boats. You did a really good job on those. Anthony, thanks for the advice. I'll check Walmart.com for some cheep stencils.

    What's on the bench -

Good point. I've skipped around between three or four different birds. I imagine that would help develop skills. Do you/any others reading prefer cork or wood? I'm partially through my first wooden bird. I'm using tupelo but have read of others using yellow cedar maybe? I live in North Alabama...

    Homemade paint jobs for boat/motor

Thanks Steve, very nice tutorial. I appreciate the level of detail. That really helps out when tackling a project for the first time. I may need to book you a flight down once I start on the boat blind [;)]. Thanks again~ Bryson

    Homemade paint jobs for boat/motor

I agree totally but the motor was painted prior to me buying it from a fella, and now the paint is looking rough so I'm trying to spruce it up. I had thought about buying some bulk camo cordura to make a boat blind. I was curious if it could be sewn on a home machine. I read at one point the...

    Homemade paint jobs for boat/motor

Thanks Tom, sounds similar to what I was planning. Do you have any photos of a project you've done like this?

    Homemade paint jobs for boat/motor

I've been doing the burlap thing as well. It's not pretty if you leave a pile of river soaked burlap for a week because you forgot to spread it out to dry.

    Homemade paint jobs for boat/motor

I'm considering trying a homemade paint job on a motor. It's not something I want to sink a lot of money into so I'm hoping anyone who has attempted could post some pictures and details on your process. What worked/what didn't. I'd like to do something similar to bottomland camo but I'm open...
