What's on the Workbench This October

Thank George! I looked into going with Pat, but it just won't work this year. Maybe in the future I will be able to attend. I look forward to meeting you and others from this site. It is nice to see other's creativity and skill. Enjoy next week!

What's on the Workbench This October

These are my first of each species. All are hollow white cedar with basswood heads and acrylic paint. I did these with Pat Gregory as part of a NEA Grant we're doing together. I plan to gun these in my layout rig.

    Spray on bedliner users...

I know your question was in regard to boats, but I had my boat trailer sprayed with Rhino liner by an auto shop and 10 years later it has not changed. No rust and no need for a new paint job. I have a double axle and back then it was around $200, so that makes your boat price not so bad.

    One proud Papa!!

The smiles on both your faces reveal a Father's love for his son and a son's love for his father. Enjoy those days and make the most of your time! Congrats to all!

    The Rock

No wonder we have such a great country...it is full of creative minds. When God told us to have dominion over the fowls of the air I wonder if He realized the ends that we would go to to honor His wishes? GREAT BOAT!

    Traditional vs. Contemporary Bluebills...

Don't put those in front of Josh or they will have jewelry on them. Nice work...can't wait to hunt over them!

Congrats Hitch! What does fall in Florida feel like? I have never been there in the fall. Great pictures and a very photogenic hunting partner.

Finally got out and went for a walk

Gary, I am in Seattle right now visiting my daughter's family. I am awestruck by the beauty of this state and I have only seen one small part of it. Your pictures cause me to want to see all of it. I pray you continue to heal and enjoy your family. Bill

    Anyone need some white pine?

Paully, Let me know how clean and final price. I may or may not be going to Westlake, so a trip to your house might be in order. I am in Seattle visiting grandchildren and won't be home until next Wednesday. Thanks.

    Anyone need some white pine?

Paul, I would be interested if it is fairly clean. I would prefer 4"x8"x8' for ducks and 5"x10"x8' for geese. I would be interested in $1000 worth. Bill

I thank all of you for your prayers and support

Gary, There are no words to take away your pain or to bring your sweetheart back, but hopefully in time you will see this as a long vacation until you can be reunited with your other half. You are in our prayers and as has been spoken...you owe no one anything for you have been an example to...

    Some thoughts---

Al, Thank you for sharing your God moment with us. We are so blessed to have His creation and to enjoy it with a friend and a cup of coffee. The whistling of wings is icing on the cake only to be rivaled by the smell of fresh gun powder and the splash of duck and dog. Bill

    first woodies

Al, I make hunting decoys and have determined that each one will be hunted over before any are sold. I am working on my rig so when they turn us loose I am ready. The drake is for a friend that helped me through a difficult time. Pat Gregory and I are going to take him hunting and I am...

    Blessing of the fleet

I realize as Christians we are not to offend others with our faith by being arrogant or pushy. Christ was not like that and neither should we, but I have yet to have anyone refuse me when I ask if I can pray before each hunt. So, if you are so inclined pray for God's blessing for safety and...

Well it's official guys (kinda duck related)

Tom, Thanks for stepping up to serve your country. We appreciate your willingness to set your personal desires aside to serve the greater good. Sadly, we live in a world that needs guarding from those whose lives are miserable and want to make everyone else feel as hopeless as they do. We...
