    Weird Taxidermy Help Request

I'm not sure how to go about this. I need a Greater Canada leg and a cackler leg cut at the joint for a taxidermy project. I'm not going to get into any geese for at least the next calendar year. I would need them to be fresh frozen and not dried out. I basically need them to bronze for band...

    20,000 threads

Just doing the morning read through and saw the thread count was 19,999. Thought I'd take a second and make 20,000. This is such a great website and gives me great daily enjoyment. Thanks to Eric, Chuck, and everyone else who makes it possible.

    Back in Black

Got my banded black back from Gunner's Taxidermy in Nicholasville, Kentucky yesterday. Captain Brian Rhodes got me on the bird in January and his brother, Ryan, mounted it for me. Very talented indeed. Mounted with a spokeshave Sean Sutton black.

Cleaning up some photos today and came across this one. Calls made by our own Bob Furia. Can't say that I blew them well, but they were blown and geese fell from the sky.

    Rhode Island First

Steve McCullough and I went and hunted with Brian Rhodes in January. We had an absolute blast. We also got blasted. The winds were up everyday and things got too dangerous to hunt the Atlantic by Saturday and Sunday. Everyone else slept in on Sunday before we flew out, but I went out with Brian...

    Trophy Cases, Cabinets

I have a finished basement as my "man room" and have 88" ceilings that are drop in. I wish I had higher ceilings for more room. I have a dead mount hanging up already as well as some flying canvasbacks. We have one wall with a huge wall unit/entertainment center that allows decoys to be...

Anything "ducky" to do in Boston?

I'm going to Boston next month for a continuing medical education course and the wife is staying home. I'll have some time to kill when I'm not in class. Does anybody know of anything worth doing there besides Fenway, Sam Adams, and Cheers?

    Congrats, Brian Rhodes

Got on the DVR today and saw the new DUTV was recorded. Our very own Capt Brian Rhodes was on there with a beard no less. Gives me a preview of what January will bring. Pretty awesome. Glad you got the opportunity.
