This gives a sense of how low profile the Devlin designs are...If she was grassed over in this shot she'd look like a broken down muskrat house or just a floating cattail bog. Erin and another buddy, Chuck, are setting on the floor, a moment before this was taken they laid down and disappeared. Also a shot I didn't get here was when Erin and Chuck stood on one gunnel and the boat hardly budged...very impressive stability.



I'll have to shoot this shot again this fall when the cattails turn...I think (hope)it'll confirm that the camo pattern works.



I think this gives a pretty good size perspective of her. My son is 6'3" and from that you can sorta see how she shapes out. I built the Black Brant III instead of the Scaup because I though it'd give me a bit more maneuverability in our sloughs and prairie potholes, which are often maze-like. I guess time will tell if it was the right decision, or if I'll miss the Scaup's additional interior room.
