New project

My wife brought home my project boat the other day. Paid $200 bucks for it. I have no idea what make/model it is and I haven't gone through it yet. Previous owner tried to patch some fiberglass on the bow and install a drain plug (no just an unfinished hole in the stern). I will update when progress is made...new project boat 2.jpgnew project boat 1.jpg

Looks sorta like a Bob Hewitt sheer sided sneakbox he built sneakboxs on marine st in tuckerton

It looks like it could the Sports Afield Widgeon. Click the orange download button to get the pdf plans.

It looks planked, with curved ribs. The Widgeon has a flat "V" plywood bottom. It appears to me to be the original 1942 MeGargee Scaup design, or very similar as suggested by Bob.

I haven't even lifted the hatch yet. The picture with the wrench is in the photos I was sent. The one in the sun is my yard the day it came home. I still have to refurb my South Bay because someone hm hm isn't doing it anymore...
