I haven't been here that long, but NDR should be more out in the open for new members. This is not universal language and who reads the fine print? Also, putting DR or NDR is like having two forum sections. I'm just suggesting an idea to keep a website from being stagnet. Maybe not growing...

I finally understand your point of view!! I'm bringing this topic back to life...this website needs a hunting forum and everything else forum. We have common ground with hunting but not all of our hunting blind talk is the same if this makes sense?

Honestly I didn't read this long discussion as its too similar of an issue we deal with here in Oregon on several fisheries. Some of these posts seem to go off on a one sided tangent without seeing the larger picture and not addressing the audience properly due to the fact this is duck forum...

Just curious on what type of or class rapids you guys run canoes in? I am not familiar with canoes and honestly never seen anyone use on the rivers here in oregon unless it was turd water. Looks like a good option at a good price if the water allows it or you could maneuver it loaded down.

Sounds like you got options with the quad. Maybe a pack raft if you need to cross and base camp where the quad is? That would save some money as well for other gear. Depending on access maybe having the access to the quad would help with plan b plans. 4 guys from a dedicated camp walking out...

And two more dead passengers! I'm not familiar with canoes as you would sink where I run but any boat loaded to capacity is not ideal in any water. By the picture you sent....you could row about anything down the stream.
