Cradle

Cradle

Below is a picture of the cradle for building the boat on. It was built to also act as a table for tools. The less bending over to pick up tools the better. In the picture it's configured for cutting plywood. When time to stitch up the hull arrived it was modified to conform to the shape of the hull. It's 10 feet long, 4 feet wide, and built from 2x4's and 1/2 inch BC plywood. Reinforced with plywood gussets and wood screws made it plenty strong for boat construction.
